Coaches: Well Equipped Teams Look Intimidating

Whether you’re an athlete or a coach, no doubt you’re always needing new equipment and training clothes.

Coaches, please make sure your athletes all have matching bags – it looks so much more professional and intimidating when a team walks in and everything they’re wearing matches. Find a great place where they can print on useful promotional bags.

Towels are  needed by most athletes for either excess sweat or wiping off their piece of sports equipment.  Maybe not all of your athletes will need one, depending upon the sport, but certainly some will. It’s not a bad idea, as a coach, to carry a few of these yourself too.

Umbrellas are another one of those imprinted promotional products that can cause a stir from the other team when they see you walk on the field. Match them with your team’s colors and you have a winner in intimidation, as well as shading your team from the sun, keeping them fresh for competition.

Every single athlete needs to drink water when they’re practicing, playing or competing and you can very inexpensively provide them with team water bottles – as low as $1.20 a piece.

Of course, embroidered hats are a must for more sports, whether or not your athletes wear them to play or compete in. Keeping them cool and their face shaded will help them from getting overheated in between games or matches.

The key is, if it’s not “cool” or useable, don’t bother ordering them – they won’t be used.

However, you can instill pride and excitement in your team when you break out the new boxes of shirts, water bottles, hats and the like.

If you can swing it, do so – these are some of the things athletes remember their entire lives and keep on wearing and using long after they’ve finished playing that year.

Anvil Raglan Baseball TeeMy hubby participated in a slo-pitch softball league this fall, and boy oh boy, did they have fun!

I always love to see neat team names and unique logos for recreation teams.

I can remember a team name with a neat logo for the slo-pitch team my Dad played on once, called “Assorted Nuts”…LOL

He even played for a baseball team called the Chippewa OldTimers…Awesome!

Come On Coach – Cool Uniforms Are A Must!

March 25, 2008 by Kimberly Edwards · Leave a Comment

I was speaking with one of my friends the other day about our “Glory Days” of softball. We played softball together or against each other for about 15 yrs.

erin-mills-elites-1993-i-think.JPGIn this particular conversation, we were reminiscing, and it just so happened that the stories all came back to how cool our uniforms were or weren’t in that year. We remembered a team from the States that we played one summer that were quite intimidating and in the end, we figured it had more to do with their cool outfits than anything else…LOL

My favorite uniforms were the ones that looked really tough, and the ones that had your name written on the back of the jersey above your number, which was a more rare occurrence…

pitcher-for-texas-am-1997.JPGI guess what I’m trying to say, or encourage, is that coaches should do their best to score their team some really cool uniforms when deciding on the Tshirt Printing…LOL…It may seem insignificant at the time…but we are still talking about our uniforms to this date…I still have some as keepsakes, in fact!

Not only could it instill confidence in your team, but other teams, clearly, could be intimidated…Seems silly doesn’t it? However, think of this…How many times have you told your team that the game or sport you play is a “mental game”? Okay then…LOL

I “Stumbled Upon” a neat site today, where you can Design Tshirts Online, making it easy to visualize exactly how your jerseys will look, in any color, with their artwork or your own. You have no excuse coaches…LOL…It’s fully automated to help you easily create athletic masterpieces! :)

Plus, there is a $0 set up fee for screen and film printing! Usually, it would cost about $30 for set-up at your local printer. As we just had some shirts and hats printed up for our business, I am very aware of pricing, and the items are less than 1/2 the price we paid for 12, and the prices keep reducing as you increase the number you want to order. Really great!

The site says you can get 1 or 1000 items printed…and they say they are 100% satisfaction guaranteed…

They have a really cool section, the Tshirt Man, where they specialize in your Christian teams’ printing needs.

Seems like you get high quality and low prices…Sounds great to me…I will not be bringing my business Read more
