Online Qualifiers Playing Well In Main Event Berlin

The European Poker Tour Main Event is crackin’ and three of the PokerStars Online Qualifiers, non-pros, are in the top 10 chip counts, respectively for their days.

Many people always ask if online players can play well in live events, and if offline player can play well online.

Well, three PokerStars online qualifiers, are proving in the Main Event on the European Poker Tour in Berlin, that you can cross over just fine.

On day 1a, Martin Jacobson has 177,000 chips, and is in 5th place in chip count.

On day 1b, Alek Samardzic & Ben Wilinofsky, are #4, and #8 respectively. Alek has 200,200 chips, and Ben has 13,500 in chips.

All three are PokerStars, non-pro, online qualifiers.

The leader on day 1a is Cristian Dragomir, he has 205,500 chips. He is followed closely by Mayu Roca Uribe, who has a chip count of 190,000.

Sander Berndsen, is the chip leader on day 1b with 242,900 chips, and he is followed closely by Oleg Elkin, who has 210,000 in chips.

To cross 200k in chips is amazing, as only 5 players in the tournament have done it on day 1.

There are 353 players left in the tourney, 151 from day 1a and 202 from day 1b. There will be some exciting action getting underway tomorrow, as they chase their part of the $3,865,000 prize pool.

There were 773 total entries, and the average chip stack is just over 65k.
