New York Yankees Sign Actor, Billy Crystal

Yup…You heard me correctly…Actor, Billy Crystal, will be signed by the New York Yankees to play…

Now, don’t get too freaked out…It’s only for 1 day, long enough for him to play in an exhibition game against the Pittsburg Pirates.

Being an avid Yankees fan his entire life, Billy Crystal will wear #60 signifying his 60th Birthday, which will be the day after the game…

The New York Yankees basically want to thank Billy for his undying support for the New York Yankees, and it has not been determined as of yet which position he’ll play. However, Billy was captain of his Long Beach High School in New York, and batted a cool .348. Not too shabby at all…

Such a fan of the Yankees, Billy Crystal actually produced and directed the movie “61*“, which is a movie about Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle and the 1961 Yankees team.
