Although MLB players have been under such scrutiny lately Barry Bonds shot some life into it in front of a sold out crowd in San Francisco.
Barry Bonds hit career home run record #756. He has now surpassed “Hank” Aaron for the solo spot atop the homerun record board. The second surprise of the night came from Hank himself. On the scoreboard, after the homerun, was a video of Mr. Hank Aaron himself congratulating Barry of an acheivement of great proportions.
Mike Bacsik, the pitcher, couldn’t do what his father did. His father faced Hank when he had 755 homeruns and didn’t give up number #756. The Washington Nationals pitcher still got the victory over the Giants 8 to 6.
But this night will go down in history. Congratulations Barry from the VNeck Sports Minute.
