Glendale, AZ (NEWSTABULOUS) – Going into the biggest college football game of the season the Auburn Tigers are the BCS #1 ranked college team, but can they finish that way by defeating the Ducks from Oregon in the BCS National Championship Game?
The Auburn Tigers, Southeastern Conference champions, are lead by quarterback Cam Newton. Cam, from College Park, GA, is only the 3rd player in major college football history to run & pass for more than 20 TDs in a single season. After a performance like that, the 6′ 6″, 247 lb, 21 year QB earned the coveted Heisman Trophy.
He will be facing an Oregon Ducks team lead by QB Darron Thomas. The Ducks run a fast paced spread offense that features a lot of passing. The Ducks lead the NCAA in passing yards this season. This will make for a great shoot out potential in Arizona tonight. No one will ever be out of the game because of their great throwing and big play ability. Any one of these teams could go on a rampage of scoring at anytime in the game.
Tonight’s game will be at 8:30 eastern standard time at the University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ. There will be some great tailgating before the game. The high for Glendale for today is 61 degrees, but tonight for the BCS National Championship game it will be a chilly 36.
