It’s Soccer Season – What Do You Need?
May 29, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards · Leave a Comment
If you or your children are involved in soccer, no doubt, you’ve been running around for soccer equipment and gear.
There’s so much out there that it’s hard to know what is the best product and what you should buy that has the best value for your money.
So, I’m giving you a website that has great, in-depth analysis of soccer equipment, whether it be soccer balls, pads, gloves or cleats.

It’s the best resource or buying guide for all things soccer that I’ve seen.
I know I’ve gone into a store looking for a piece of equipment only to be dazzled by the sheer number of choices…usually ending up leaving with nothing!
What’s also great about this site, is it lists adult soccer leagues and tournaments around the USA, not to mention soccer clubs!
Basically, it has all of your soccer sports gear needs handled.
Be sure to check it out and have fun out there!

One Season of Sand Volleyball Over @ Yucatan
May 28, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards · Leave a Comment
Well, last week the first season of the year for sand volleyball came to an end at Yucatan Beach Volleyball Club in Coppell, Texas.
Kenney and his partner, Aaron, came 2nd in the B 2-on-2 league.
Also, Kenney, Aaron & Anthony came 2nd in the B 3-on-3 co-ed league.
Man, what a season and they start all over in a new season this coming week…
However, Kenney will only play 2-on-2 and they’re moving up to the A level this coming season.
Aaron, our friend, may be out this next league season due ligament damage to his left knee…

Sports Posters of Yourself?
May 5, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards · Leave a Comment
How cool is this place?
This poster printing service allows you to use anyof your own digital sports photos to create your very own sports poster!
What a great idea! How neat is that?
You can choose from any of their 4 standard sizes or customize your poster up to 27″ x 39″.
PSPrint.com does the rest for you.
When I was playing softball in university, my parents took photos of me pitching, batting, fielding and running.
They then found a place in town that would put the enlarged photos on poster board – and they were really cool!
They’re great keepsakes, but I know they probably cost a small fortune then…LOL

PS Print would make this process a lot easier and much more economical too!
Anyway, get creative with a great gift for someone you love, or for a promotion you’re running!
How great would it be to have a team poster for each girl or boy of your team to have at the end of the year?
What about the Freshman class track team at your high school?
The possibilities are endless and it’s a great way to remember those fun times of your life – your kids will get a kick of you looking so sporty and talented too when you have them!

I don’t care what sport you do…
…if your stronger it’s gonna help to be better.
Now strength training and bodybuilding are different. You have to know your goals.
Strength Training vs. Bodybuilding
Bodybuilding, aimed at developing each and every single muscle, does increase strength, but it’s sole purpose is not to increase strength per say.
When you’re body building you usually do sets of 8-15 reps and 5 sets (first one being a warm up). Then you try to work each muscle group with 12-16 sets of various exercises.
You totally fatigue the muscle group and work your sets to Read more
