Good Tennis Courts in Garland Suburb of Dallas?

April 16, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards

Wilson Nano Carbon Hope Tennis Racquet (Pre-Strung)Okay, 3 of us had all great intentions of going to play tennis after our friend got off work today.

We are in the Garland suburb of Dallas and tried a few of the local high schools to play.

What we found were courts that had 15 foot fences and were all locked up!

Well, the boys jumped the fence and played anyway…

Me? I ran the track for a while and had a good stretch. Then, watched them play until I couldn’t see them anymore! LOL

What’s that about?

What happened to the days where a father and daughter or father and son, or even some friends, could go up the road and play some tennis.

In fact, we went to go run at one of the local high schools a few weeks ago and they had their track locked up…

Anyway, I’m on here for a rant as only a small part of the point of this story.

If any of you know of good tennis courts in or around the Garland suburb of Dallas – and even better, with lights – let us know by commenting in the comment box below!
