Boogie Boarding is a Blast!
January 30, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards · Leave a Comment
If you’ve never been boogie boarding, you really have to make the effort to go!
It’s such a blast, especially when you catch your first wave correctly…
* Tip: Wait until just before a wave crests where you are. Get in front of the crest and start kicking with your feet, swimming. You should be able to catch the wave then. Just stay on your board.
Also, the bigger or longer your board is, the easier it is to float and stay on the wave your riding.
I don’t know how many boards we’ve broken or bent because of tumultuous water and big waves…
Get a strong one to start out with…It’s worth it.

Paintball Sounds Like So Much Fun
January 18, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards · 2 Comments
Okay, I’ve never actually had the opportunity to go paintballing YET…
My hubby hasn’t even had a chance either, and that’s rare…LOL
I’ve been researching paintball online a little bit, and it sounds like a blast!
Now, I have seen a lot of paintball places in or on the outskirts of Dallas, but haven’t seen very many here in Ontario…Unless, I just haven’t been paying a lot of attention!
Anyway, we’re going to make a serious effort to get out there and play this year. I think we are going to organize a group of friends to out and play against each other!
I think it will be a lot of fun, and I’ll be the “Fantasy Sleeper” of the week because I’m a good shot. I think I’ll surprise a lot of the “boys” just like I did when I played flag football with them…LOL! Don’t Underestimate the Girls!
Have you had a chance to play dye paintball? If so, Comment in the Comment Box Below and let us know what your experience was like!
If you’re looking for paintball equipment, check out PntBall.com – I’ve been looking at their products there and figuring out what we need and don’t need…

Chance to Be an Olympic Torchbearer for Vancouver 2010
January 13, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards · 1 Comment
Have you ever dreamed of being an Olympic Torchbearer? I have, and still wish I could.
If you’re a Canadian teenager, you have the chance to carry the Olympic torch to the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
I’ve seen the Olympic flame being carried, I guess it must have been for the Calgary Winter Olympics, and everyone gathers in front of their houses and cheers the torchbearer on. We have photos of it…Looks like I’m about 10 years old or so. It’s such an honor!

Used Can Still Be Top Quality in Golf Balls
January 6, 2009 by Kimberly Edwards · 1 Comment
Even though a golf ball is used, doesn’t mean it’s not still top quality…
…It’s just reduced in price at this point.
You can really save some money by purchasing used golf balls for practice, lessons and play.
In fact, GolfBallsAndAccessories.com offers grade A & B balls for on 30¢ per ball! That’s cheap!
What does that mean for you??? Well…
That means you can play more, instead of saving your money for buying brand new Titleist golf balls.
For example,

My husband loves using the used balls for practice. However, he prefers to use a brand new ball for play.
However, if you’re wanting to play more and save money, so long as their not nicked or cut, they’re great ways to cut cost!
Considering you usually use a bag full of golf balls for practice, numbering around 150-200, this could be a really substantial saving.
Of course, the closer you get to scratch golf, the more you may want to use brand new balls of your choice!
But, especially as a beginner, when you’re playing, you’re going to want to play with used golf balls, as you’ll probably be Read more
