What Do You Go to Hockey Games For?
October 8, 2008 by Kenney
We all hate to admit it, but secretly, deep down in your mind, when you go to a hockey game, you hope to see a fight…even a small one…

My husband’s uncle gave us 2nd row seats right behind the goalie to the Dallas Stars vs. Chicago Blackhawks Pre-Season game in Dallas.
These were the best seats in the house, I must say! Literally, we watched us on television all night long…but that’s not what was great!
I must admit, it was such an exciting game as the teams battled back and forth. However, there must have been at least 10 fights in the game! Sheesh…These guys are charged up for the season! We even had fights right at the glass in front of us.
I don’t remember these 2 teams being fierce rivals, so either they have been dying for the season to begin or were trying to get the fans so hyped up and excited for the season to keep coming back for more! It seemed as though they fought each other over everything.
The funniest thing about the fights are the referees. They let the guys fight for a little while, then, all of a sudden, they try so frantically to break them apart…LOL…
Even the refs want to see a bit of a good fight…LOL…
The game went into overtime and into a 3-time shootout for each team…
Dallas lost, but the game was power-packed action!
We had a blast! Thanks Uncle Tony!!!
