Don’t Underestimate The Girls!

When it comes to sports, it seems to be a “normal” thing for “guys” to underestimate the girls and their athletic abilities…LOL…
For example, this past weekend, I arrived in Dallas to visit my husband. Him and his friends play flag football on Saturday mornings. So, I went with him to watch, thinking the other girlfriends and wives would come too.
While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, I thought I would get my run in, as I was training for a 5 km run for Breast Cancer that I ran a few weeks ago, and have since continued on with the training for fitness.
So, I ran my 5 km, only to find out that they were missing a man to play. Kenney, being my husband and also being well aware of my athletic abilities, offered me up as a fill-in until someone else arrived.
The other team agreed, as I was just a fill-in for both teams temporarily.
